82 missing from Balochistan, 69 from Sindh in recent years: National Crisis Management Cell

The National Crisis Management Cell of the Interior Ministry holds a list of 468 persons who went missing in recent years and, of them 82 are from Balochistan and 69 from Sindh. The figures which have come before the higher judiciary are however different and higher too. A cell in Sindh High Court (SHC) puts the figure over 200 in Sindh.

The names gathered by the TP through media reports include: Mehrab Ahmed (district Panjgur), Johar alias Baba Bohair (district Gawadar), Fareed Baloch of Asian Human Rights Commission in Canton Road KLN, Hong Kong, Abid Saleem (Panjgur), Zubair Ahmed (district Kech), Ilahi Bukhsh and Shah Murad (district Lasbela), Waleed Afzal and Muhammad Nabil (district Kech), Zaffarullah Khan (District Mastung), Sardar Daroo Khan and Muhammad Tahir Khan (Quetta), Munir Ahmed Mirawani (Khuzdar),

Munir Ahmed (Khuzdar), Tariq Ali (district Kech), Fareed Khan (district Panjgur), Shabir Ahmed (Quetta) and Abdul Zakir (district Mastung), Zakir Majeed (Khuzdar), Abdul Kabeer (Khuzdar), Din Muhammad Baloch (Kuzdar), Jalik Raki Baloch (Killi Ghulam Jan), Saifullah (Quetta), Iqbal Baloch (district Kech), Hafeez Saeedur Rehman (Quetta), Ali Asghar Bangulzai (Quetta), Samiullah (district Noshki), Jawari lal (Khuzdar), Abdul Ghaffar (Kalli Esa Zai in Khund), Mushtaq Ali (Rodiani House Balina Khattan), Muhammad Siddique (Khuzdar), Safar Khan (Quetta), Mazhar Khan (Noshki), Abdul Ghani (Sibi), Mir Sami Husain Anqa (Mach, district Bolan), Shamsul Din (Sabzal Mandi), Sikandar Baloch (Podgali Chowk), Adul Wahab (Tump, Kech), Ali Ahmed (Washuk) and Sameer Rind (Turbat).

An other report quoting NACTA estimates says that 468 people went missing in only three years with 117 in Punjab, 69 in Sindh, 159 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), 82 in Balochistan, 9 in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) and 11 in AJK. Of these 468 people, 146 have been retrieved while 176 cases were later disposed of.
