Sindh produces 60% of Pakistan’s fuel production

ISLAMABAD – Only Qadirpur Gas field Sindh is giving 14% of the total fuel production in the country. Addressing the National Assembly, the Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources and Privatization, Syed Naveed Qamar said that Sindh is producing at least 60 percent of country’ total oil production.

Union forms strategy to reverse privatisation order

SUKKUR: With the federal government totally refusing to budge an inch from the decision of privatizing Qadirpur gas field, the gas field union and its workers have come out with a long term strategy to undo the decision, which they called the brain child of minister for privatisation Syed Naveed Qamar, and aimed to deprive Sindh of its biggest natural resource of oil and gas.
