by Aziz Narejo, TX, USA

Sindhi Association of North America (SANA) has said that the people of Sindh who had lived under discriminatory governments for many years had elected PPP with expectations that it would end their sufferings when it came to power. But it is very unfortunate that the plight of the people has continued unabated under the PPP government.

Opinion- Raising Taliban bogey, MQM prepares for massive bloodshed in Sindh

By Aziz Narejo, TX, USA

Taliban are coming! But what is the real agenda of MQM? Are they preparing for a massive bloodshed in Sindh to cause final blow to the unity of the province and the country? The civil society and the Government have to take notice before it is too late.

How come one of the major partners in the ” Britain is allowing Pakistani chief terrorist Altaf Hussain to use its land to launch terrorism in Pakistan?” Speak of double standards and hypocrisy!war on terror

(I know people are rightly preoccupied with events related dictator Musharraf’s impeachment but this is very important issue too and it should not be ignored).

MQM is known for terrorism, violence, use of force and its undemocratic, racist and fascist ways to establish its hold in the urban areas in Sindh. Who has forgotten Pakistani terrorist chief Altaf Hussain’s call to his followers in 1980s to sell TVs and VCRs and buy Kalashnikovs? People are witness what happened in Sindh in late 80s and 90s.

By Aziz Narejo, TX, USA

Conflicting reports are coming in from Pakistan on PML-N’s stand on the Zardari scheme of retaining Musharraf’s illegally appointed superior court judges on and after the military dictator’s second coup of 3rd November, 2007. Khwaja Asif says PML-N will support finance bill including the provision to increase the number of Supreme Court judges to 29 from the present 16. Another PML-N leader Zafar Iqbal Jhagra says PML-N would not accept PCO judges and will not vote for that provision. He however says that PML-N may accept PCO judges as ad-hoc judges!

Lawyers’ movement & Sindhiat: Patriotism last refuge of a scoundrel?

by Aziz Narejo, TX, USA

Opposition to the glorious lawyers’ movement for justice in the name of Sindhiat or due to any other nationalistic considerations is a serious crime in my eyes and it borders on naked racism. I think minority nations/nationaliti es in Pakistan need justice and democracy more than anyone else.
