MQM public meeting in Bhitshah on Dec 25, 2010

HYDERABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will hold a public meeting in Bhitshah on Dec 25. This was stated by Minister for Health Dr Sagheer Ahmed and Ashfaq Mangi in a press conference at MQM’s Zonal Office here on Sunday night.

They said MQM was struggling to extricate the people from the retrogressive feudal system, adding that the party’s message in that regard was being received in every nook and cornor of the country.

On the occasion, the MQM leaders appealed intellectuals, writers, researchers, journalists, students and teachers, peasants, growers and people belonging to every walk of life to attend the public meeting as to give a message that regardless of any distinction people of Sindh were united.

Members of rural Sindh’s organizing committees including provincial ministers Zubair Ahmed and Nisar Panhwer, MPAs Heer Soho and Naheed, Umar Qureshi, Ghulam Hyder Rahoo, members and workers of Zonal Committee were also present in the press conference.

Ms. Andie of U.S. Consulate is also a great woman. She has great regards for Sindh & Sindhi language. She learned Sindhi language during her posting in Karachi like she knew Bhasha Indonesia.

The history of Ajrak goes back to 5000 years.. It had been used by King priest, the symbol of Indus valley Civilization. The people of Sindh are the Guardian of the culture,the customs and the rituals of Sindhu-Sarswati (Indus) civilization.

Sindhi Cultural Day in Washington on December 4, 2010

Washington: Many organizations and media in Sindh have decided to celebrate Unity and Sindhi Cultural Day in Sindh. Let us show our solidarity with our kith and kin in Sindh by celebrating this day on Saturday, December 4, 2010. If possible, please dress in our national outfit for this unique occasion. Complimentary pizza of your choice and light beverages will be served. Maxican Government Scholarships for foreigners 2010

This Call for scholarships and grants shall be open from April 22 through August 31, 2009, and online registration of candidatures shall be done from July 15 to August 15, 2009, with the exception of the following Programs: “Genaro Estrada” Program for Specialists on Mexico; High-Level Lecture Program; Special Internship Program; Studies on Mexican Independence and the Mexican Revolution; Program of Visits for News Media Collaborators; the Mexican Program to Improve the Quality of Mexico’s Higher Education Institutions; and the “Daniel Cosío Villegas” Programs of El Colegio de México. The foregoing shall remain open until October 30, 2010. Online registration for these programs is not required.
