Toronto, Canada – (Press release): The World Sindhi Congress a leading Sindhi organization of Sindhi diaspora is going to organize an event in Mississauga, Canada, on July 11, 2015, from 12.00 Noon – 5.00 pm at Mississauga Valley Community Centre, 1275 Mississauga Valley Blvd, Ontario, The theme of the dialogue is: Community Dialogue: Sindhi Nationalism and Urdu Speaking Sindhi population of Sindh.

Sagir A. Shaikh, Dileep Ratnani, and several other prominent Canadians of Sindhi, Urdu speaking Sindhis, and Baloch origin of human rights activists will attend this highly interactive and candid event.

Other topics of the programme are;
1- Introduction of World Sindhi Congress – Dileep Ratnani
2- Changing fabric of Sindhi Rights movements – Sagir A. Shaikh
3- Community dialogue: Sindhi nationalism & urdu speaking Sindhi population of Sindh – Open dialogue between Sindhi and urdu speaking Sindhis.

  1. I welcome willingness of Sindhi World Congress to acknowledge all citizens of Sindh as Sindhis regardless of the language they speak. It is great omen for all of us and the country. Let work hard on removing misunderstandings between Urdu and Sindhi speaking Sindhis. Why not open a discussion on these topics where everyone is welcome to express their views in a respectful and civil manner with violence of any kind verbal or otherwise.
