It was a fortunate evening of October,1996 for me when I appeared before Our Great National Poet Shaikh Mubarak Ayaz at his appartment in Clifton. We saw a man with a strong will, sleeping on a cot in his home library surrounded by thousands of his real friends. While talking to every one he advised to work for mother land collectively. Though he was not in a position to stand up or sit, but he was moving his eyes to all of us. He looked determined and desired to work more and more for the Sindh & Sindhi people. Our 10-15 minutes meeting gave us encouragement to work hard for national cause. Poetry of Shaikh Ayaz is full of inspiration for struggle loving people. In order to pay him real tribute, we must be prepared for making sincere efforts for happiness and prosperity of Sindh and Sindhi people.
