Are you an apple or a pear shape?

Did you know that a lot of people have a body shape that falls into one of two groups? The easiest way to find out where you fit in is to think of yourself as either an apple or a pear- both are sweet, but it’s the shape that matters! 1. If most of your weight is in the buttocks and hip area, you are a pear. 2. If you gain more weight around your stomach, you’re an apple shape. It’s good to be more of a pear than apple. Carrying too much weight around your waist can be a warning sign. No matter which shape you are, remember that making healthy food choices and getting plenty of physical activity can help you control your weight- and your cholesterol. Eat fresh raw vegetable and colourful fruits and half an hour walk every day.
