SSUK at a glance: SSUK is a non-governmental, non-political, non religious, social and cultural organization for Sindhis living in the UK. It has been set up with the clear perception that the basic social issues which today’s Sindhi community faces, be discussed in details with a view to find out their viable and amicable solutions. The main focus will be on working together with all Sindhis with strong commitment to develop the Sindhi community through networking and mutual co-operation.
SSUK had arranged musical and social evenings on July 10th, 2004 and Saturday, July 22, 2006 which were attended by more than 250 families all over the United Kingdom. Mr. Sadique Fakir, a well known singer from Sindh performed in the event. These events were free of cost as an effort to promote and introduce Sindh, its ancient civilization, culture and music at the international level.
