Altaf Shaikh’s Book wins Shah Abdul Latif Award

Altaf Shaikh won the Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Literary award for his book “New Hala Khan New York“. The book describes his last travelogue of North America, when he met many North American Sindhis and attended several Sindhi functions including the 2005 SANA Convention in Washington DC and World Sindhi Institute (WSI) function organized in his honor in Washington DC. The book covers those functions and as well account of many meetings and kachahries he had with many friends in North America.
